I noted that children are a mixed bag when it comes to wellbeing, helping for parent's satisfaction with health, but lowering satisfaction with standard of living (as anyone who has held a screaming baby would attest) but surely, having a healthy new grandson would make any Australian proud and happy with their life.

Some very interesting findings about living in small communities in regional Australia versus the big cities. Looks like the sea/tree changers were right after all!
